We were a party of 7. Seated right away. Pizza, salad, wings, chicken fingers, burgers and the amazing brisket! Wow everything was delicious but that brisket was exceptional!
My son chose this place out and it was really good. I got the brisket pizza and it had a very unique taste. We also ordered the mango habanero wings which were also smoked, the mixture of both tastes was delicious.
I love smoked wings. I was very excited when I found this place on Yelp. It did not disappoint!!! I absolutely loved lemon pepper wing platter. I did have to take a star off because they didn't include a dipping sauce with my order and they struggled to get my order correct but once it was right boy oh boy was my wings tasty!!! I got my order to go so I don't know what the inside of the restaurant looked like or the quality of the service.
First, hats off to my server, Adam for doing a fantastic job today. We ordered the pork combo with french fries and gumbo soup with an order of fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were prepared differently than I've ever had and they were delicious. The pork was very tasty and their sweet barbecue sauce and a heck of a kick. Ambience was very nice with lots of televisions playing different programs for patrons to watch. What can make this lunch experience even better. Well the complementary cookie and ice cream dessert that was yummy-licious.
We were having a hard time finding pet friendly restaurants at Broadway since Broadway itself isn't pet friendly and our hotel was on property. We double checked with the staff and they assured us it was. Went a step further by asking which table would be best in the section. This may not seem like much but this is HUGE and means a lot. We never want our dogs to be a disruption to another patron and take caution in that. One of our dogs is still a large puppy (GSD 1 year at 90lbs) and the other is a 4 year old (GSD) who is also large, they are considered "bully" breeds and we never want others to not feel safe while they are enjoying dinner. The staff brought water for them immediately in bowls which for us was a step further in a positive experience. Our daughter had the kids cheese pizza and it was SO good. We only had enough time for an appetizer which was fried pickles and they were also some of the best we had. They didn't come out scorching hot so we were able to enjoy them almost immediately. The beer- ice cold. Another win. Being on the patio and able to watch people was also relaxing. We will definitely be back. With or without dogs, the staff won us over with the thoughtfulness and care taken to make this experience exceptional.
